I think this is the correct place for this, if not, mods please move where appropriate.
I got my stamp (pended 1/17-completed 7/22-that was a looong wait), anyway, 7.3 barrel, it does have an aluminum gas block(tight fit, and screws in tight) nuisance #1- keyholing with CMMG .22 conversion using Winchester High Velocity especially (1600 ft sec), but not the cheap stuff. What's gives? nuisance #2- Bolt not locking back after last round, except, with GI surplus mag (will not drop free, very snug fit) Pmags, and others seems to be random. Other than that shoots great. Appreciate some input. |

The barrel is a 1:7 @ 7.3 inch length, shot 55gr, Wolf, Tula, Remington, and some range ammo.
Loaded 3-5 rounds after a few bolt lock failures, same random non-lock issue. Only consistent bolt lock was the GI mag. I was shooting .22's with the CMMG drop in conversion, the standard bulk pack stuff seemed to do fine, just the high performance stuff keyholed, and was not very accurate. I don't expect the drop in to be super accurate, just thought it odd that the premium ammo keyholed, and the cheap stuff shot ok. Otherwise, shoots great, accurate, smooth, no fte's, no ft fire/feed. Buffer is for a carbine. |
