Just put them on a 4473, with a separate sheet as a receipt for the tax payment. All regulatory, no changes in law required.

I just hope all this streamlining and electronic upgrades don't come with a fat increase on the tax stamp cost.

One change offered is to add CC or debit card payment options.

If they really want to streamline things they need to just drop the law enforcement certification signoff section. It does NOTHING to AID IN THE COLLECTION OF REVENUE, which is the sole legal basis for the forms existence. Finger print cards go to FBI, and they could just include your address and the FED's can check local/state laws. If they can't get that part right they need to turn in the badge and forfeit the paycheck ( and retirement ).

ATF wants to APPEAR to be helping ... That is all , nothing will speed up the process . liberal heads of departments wont allow it I promise you that
