I just finished my NFA trust, and would like to purchase a factory SBR rifle. In particular I'm interested in a DD MK18 or KAC SBR with 11.5" barrel. Does anyone have any suggestions where I might find one of these or another quality SBR. I intend on suppressing it with a Surefire SOCOM. Thanks for any help.

Google Allen Arms in Greenville SC, I just bought a 762 SOCOM and a SDN-6 in stock 3 weeks ago.  Best pricing I have seen on the Surefire. At the time they had both black and FDE

I don't know. This is my first NFA purchase. I'm just  stating what I was told by Ashley at DD after giving her my FFL info. Time in not of concern to me. If time were an issue, I wouldn't be getting into NFA purchases.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'll check with them and see if they have then available.

Sorry bud, but you arent getting a factory SBR that quick.  It takes several weeks for the transfer to your SOT to process.  Not to mention that every other manufacture is months and months out on building rifles, and according to LMT 3 yrs.

I looked up info. on the form 3. I see your point. From what I can gather, the form 3 can run up to 13+/- weeks right now.?? Monday must be the gun completion date? Hopefully I'll find the Surefire SOCOM RC FDE for the right price and in stock soon. Oh well. Maybe I'll have a Christmas surprise; or several for that matter. Thanks for the heads up. I look forward to posting pics of the setup once it arrives. There's just so much information about guns to learn. Fun stuff!

Sorry to be off point and subject. Not being sarcastic; serious question.... Is LMT so good that someone would wait 3 years on one when they could have nearly any DD gun they want (not sure about the DDM4ISR) within 2 months max (I checked)? I got an MK18 build in less then a week. What separates the two manufacturers quality that warrants that kind of wait?

I find it quite optimistic that DD would be able to turn out rifles that quick right now.......I hope im wrong.  And no, there is no reason the LMT should be 3 yrs out, but thats what their lady told me.  I found what I wanted in another state.  I would say daniel defense is just as good, it just that the MRP 100% LMT.

Maybe they have lots of military and LE contracts right now.  After all, that is their primary market.  Just a guess.
