Which buffer do I need ot run for a 11.5" BCM barrel chambered in 5.56, with a carbine gas system and an SRT Hurricane suppressor? Thanks in advance!

I think most people would almost reflexively say a heavy buffer. Something like Spikes T2. But I can attest first hand that you won't know for sure until you shoot it. I have a 10.5" barrel, carbine length with a PSA H buffer and it seems very under gassed. Best thing I can figure out to do is shoot hotter ammo and get a lighter buffer and/or weaker recoil spring. But there's no guarantees until you get out there and shoot it.

'Preciate the info, I'll try it with what I've got and make adjustments later.

H buffer for 16-11.5, h2 for 10.5, sub 10.3 h3. That's a general rule. Colt 6933's 11.5 inch barrel come with an h buffer. Id shoot bcm an email and ask them what they put on there complete 11.5 guns. It should be no problem using the same buffer surpressed and unsurpressed.

Standard buffer works just fine.
