ACR Guys,
Where are you getting your acr engraved for the SBR addition? I guess it still has to be on the lower even though the serial # is on the upper? Educate me. Thanks |

What does the ATF consider the receiver on the ACR? Answer that and you have your answer. You can also engrave the barrel, but that would require engraving any barrel you would run in the ACR while in SBR configuration. I was a little cautious about getting the polymer lower engraved and would rather the metal be engraved on the upper so I could run whatever barrels I wanted. |

Seems logical to me to be able engrave the "upper". Any other views? |
| Just as mentioned - the receiver is the upper, just like the Sig 556 series. I don't have an ACR, but I got my Sig 556 pistol-turned-SBR just under and slightly to the rear of the ejection port. I'm not sure if you have an engraver in mind, but Ident did a great job. |
