I'm just wondering what the deal is on this. I'd never heard of it until I saw it on the cover of Combat Tactics magazine in the store today, where it was advertised as Colt's newest thing for the AR. The published info in the above link is from 2008, so what gives? Is this still in the works? Was it sidelined for the last 3 years or just not talked about? The article in the magazine said that it was strictly for military and LE, so...
Any thoughts?

Saw this a while ago and didn't hear much about it after.

I'd like to see the "bolt carrier buffer" parts.

The magazine article had a couple pics of the BCG and buffer assembly. The carrier was shortened by about an inch, maybe a little more. The spring was shortened and more compressible and the buffer, which was only about 1 inch long, seemed to be integrated with the spring. It was an interesting looking system for sure. I'm sure the durability of the components is not remotely questionable, but at first glance it looked like it wanted to break.

Knowing col everything will work wonderfully, the gun looks awsome and the gas port and gas block sight are specially sized and designed for this system

Heres a few more, broken down and note te ambi mag release

The author stated the systems have exceeded 36,000 rounds so the buffer and bcg dont sound to e an issue
