What do you put on the application when they ask why you want to make the firearm? Can you just put "sporting purposes" or does it need a more technical answer?

I put "All lawful purposes".

I've heard of guys putting "because chicks dig them", but it didn't work out for them so well. I just usually put "For all legal purposes and enhance collection"

I put " because its quieter" on a supressor form 1 a few years ago and it got approves. Someone on here put " to kill zombies" or something on one and it got approved. Just depends on the examiners mood i guess

Sporting purposes would actually be an ironic inside joke, as "sporting purposes" is the legal excuse they use for disallowing importation of guns they don't want us to have.
