I've got a KAC URX 2 for my current SBR project. I know the urx is 10.75" long, and was wondering if i could run a 10.5" barrel under it. My plan is to run a Noveske 10.5 light shorty with a BC 2.0. will i have any problems with this setup, such as the muzzle brake being partially covered by the urx?

If you shoot with your support hand near the end of the rail you may get powder burns from the brake.......

I'd go with at least an 11 inch.  that's what I run on my mid length urn ii and it's literally JUST long enough.

also, with the battle comp shooting crap into the rial is going to send crap all over the place and probably eventually tear up the rail.  I wouldn't do it

10-4. What do you guys think is the best quality 11.5 inch barrel on the market that will have a good barrel life? And when I say good barrel life, I'm talkin >25K rounds.

Have you thought about a different muzzle brake like a KX3, troy claymore, or levang?  They direct everything forward so it shouldn't be an issue if they are covered a little.  I'm looking at a 10.5 inch barrel, 11 troy trx, and claymore for my next build.

Just about anything will work.  I personally would probably go with just about any chrome lined from a respected company.

BCM BFH 11.5" wouldn't be a bad choice.

Sabre Defence 11.5"

*Not a 11.5", but if your plans change to a 10.5", this is about the toughest barrel you can find:
Noveske 10.5″ Light Shorty Barrel

I wouldn't really worry about barrel life that much.  They are not that expensive and are easy to replace when they need to be changed out.

how good are those muzzle devices at reducing muzzle rise?
