My latest and last revision to my Mk18-ish clone. This is as correct as it's going to get.

I dipped the AFG, MIAD, and PMAGs in tan RitDye for about 30 seconds to darken them up to match. The MIAD was my first test subject and came out too dark, and that was only 45 seconds. So I'll probably dye this one black and put it on another rifle and dye another FDE MIAD for this rifle. Not on the top of my to do list, but I'll eventually get it done. Pic thread:

It's a 6933. I swapped the flat top receiver for an A2. (and I'm the original owner)

It's a 6933. I swapped out the flat top receiver for an A2.

Sweet, ok, just asking! One of these days/years I'll find a used 6933 and buy it...a factory Colt SBR, in these days, is awesome. Edited to add - mine is on page 3
