I am asking, (because it looks like it based solely on the pictures, if there is 2.5" of free barrel past the FSP.
He was stating what many have before, that a SPR/M4 can will not fit on an 11.5" barrel with a FSP. I don't disagree, but the pictures play optic al illusions on my mind. "Looks" liek there is enough room. |

So i finally got some time off and took my Adams Arms 7.5 into the wild to play.
I used 55grain FMJ XM193, I only got to one 30 round magazine as I played with my LWRC most afternoon. No issues what so ever. The barrel was not that hot after rapid succession firing, minutes later I was able to grasp it with no burn. I did not have ear protection and this is much louder than a 16" barrel, the only comparisson I have. I would say it sounded like a short bark like a 308. Now I have to get her to a 25yard range and get her properly zerod.

yes indeed, and the reason for building it. 6.5 hits sooooooooo much harder than 5.56 and i think its the perfect "intermediate" cartridge between the 223 and 308 without the extra weight that a 308 AR runs. |
