Here is mine...

An LMT 10.5 with all LaRue hardware. This is a great shooter. Zero malfunctions, but I do always keep the weapon well lubed. My secondary is a Nighthawk Talon. The best 1911 handsdown I have had. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r279/poper113355/SBR009.jpg

I dont think so. The 5.56 cans are fatter then 9mm cans. MY old SIR was no go, it was Midlength. I will check to measurments later.

My SBR family.
Top is a SBR AR15 that will be used solely for 5.56 and .22lr.
Second is a Bobcat BW5 SBR(haven't refinished the 3lug barrel yet)
Bottom is another SBR AR15 which will be solely a 9mm subgun(w/ my SWR Trident suppressor, when its not on the MP5).

Pretty bunch of guns if you ask me!  I think my next one will be a Vector V51, anyone have experience with one?

GREAT THREAD!!!!!!!!!

Here's mine.  Got approved just in time for Christmas.
I had it engraved and then painted it with Moly Resin while I was waiting for the stamp.

Had just installed the new barrel and airbrushed it to match the rest of the host rifle just prior to taking this shot.
Took the pic prior to mounting the YHM flip-up front sight and the pressure switch for the light.  Those are on now.  Going to try to get outside and sight it in this weekend.

Here's my little darling.  It is setup for hog hunting at night out of vehicles.  Does that count as "vehicle ops?"

It's a LW SOC 11.5" with 1/7 twist barrel.  I have Federal 77gr SMKs and Hornady 75gr BTHPs for it.  Sub 2" groups at 100yds with merely an Eotech.

Shoots great.  Very accurate.  Do you get gas in your face when you shoot your rifle?  I don't.  What's really neat is when you're done shooting, you can slip out the bolt carrier and hold it.  Cleaning time is greatly reduced, as all the carbon just wipes off (not baked on by the heat in DI rifles.)  Recoil really isn't any different, which was somewhat disappointing.  I thought it would be similar to my short-stroke gas piston H&K SL8.  It's not.

I don't plan on buying another DI rifle, ever.  I may try out Colt's 1020, but I'll probably just stick with LW.  They really stand behind their product (even if it usually takes a while to GET their product.)

I noticed a picture in one of the SBR posts.  What length barrel did you use on your shortest one?  Is it 7.5" or shorter?

Thanks

The brake makes a very sizable fireball and is loud as all heck!  It's fun!

Well I did a little rebuilding of my SBR tonight.
I replaced the KAC RAS with a VLTOR CASV-EL handguard, replaced the KAC VFG with a Tangodown VFG, replaced the Ergo grip with a Magpul MIAD, replaced the factory trigger guard with a Magpul unit, replaced the Larue mount with an A.R.M.S. mount, (I will replace it with a lower Larue as soon as I can) and I replaced the tape switch with a push button tail switch.

The only thing left is a drop in Timney trigger and a Phantom QD mount for my can when it comes in.

I dont think that is going to hack it with the ATF since the trigger guard is not part of the lower receiver. Now in the case of a lower with a trigger guard that is milled together as one piece , then that would be ok.
