I have an AAC blackout flash hider, three prong, that I want to get welded so it doesn't "ping" anymore when shooting a can on it.

Is this possible to do or should I just get a different flash hider from YHM or Surefire and forget about the AAC M4-2000 can.

I have no idea.

From their website:
A high strength corrosion-resistant aerospace alloy, and ultra-hard SCARmorâ„¢ finish provide the highest level of durability. Military tested and selected.

I'd sell it and get a brake.  I don't think it would be hard to get $50 out of it.

In that case I would remove the finish and tig it with stainless filler.
