Just getting started in smithing.  I have a good bench, vise, and most of the hand tools I need.  Looking at getting a press next, since it can help me out with some other stuff Im working on.  Obviously variable speed, but is the any other recomendations you guys have for me?

Look for an older radial arm press if you can find one and have the space to put it. Some of those things were darn close to a knee type milling machine and would last forever.
