Besides the trigger being heavy as fuck its also shaped so that its very uncomfortable on my finger.

Is there a replacement or ways to have it reshaped, safely?

You'd have to machine your own and heat treat appropriately. The trigger will work in a bit, but they're designed to be machine gun triggers and heavy to allow a fast off the go pedal. You could send it to a smith to polish it, but I doubt it would take much off. Another option, and I don't know if it would work, would be to buy a surplus Model A or B semi lower and see if it'll mate up - the surplus lower triggers tend to be pretty smooth.

I am not talking about the pull but the physical shape or curve of the thing. It bites into my huge ass hands.

I found a shop that will do a trigger job but that does not change the ergo of the actual trigger.

So not the sear but this part,

Attached File

Maybe its hard to see but with my hand firmly to the top of the grip my finger is pushed downward pressing against the bottom. I think ita because of how wide this bitch is.

I just didn't know if there were alternatives.

The MPA and the Cobrays just put a piece of tubing over their triggers to help mitigate the trigger slap. Seems it would work in your case.

Or are you referring to the trigger housing?

So after some searching i found someone who does trigger jobs on Uzis.. With some questioning he said that he could also reshape that trigger...

Here ya go.. I mean its not perfect but its a FUCK TON better than what it was and the actual trigger work helped a lot with both of my uzis. As much as you can help a uzi trigger.

So, if you got a uzi and hate that hook, give bill a call. I had it back in a couple weeks.
