Having trouble finding a 9MM A1 or A2 birdcage style flash hider for a carbine project.

Needs to be 5/8" x 24 threads.

I could get a .30 cal and bore it out, but would rather have a factory 9MM.

Any suggestions?

[this is for coolness factor only, my carbine produces no flash to speak of]

That's not a factory 9mm thread for any company I know of, so boring out a .30 or having one made to order would be the only choices, probably.

We are making some 5/8-24 A1 style flash hiders bored for .45 ACP.  These are for our MAX-10/45 uppers with 5/8-24 barrel threads, but will work just fine with 9mm.  Should be available within a month.  E-mail us if you would like to be contacted when they are ready for sale.

Try EGW in PA. They do great work and prices are not bad.
