Well I already have a Suomi k31, now I am on the fence. What I am looking at is the TNW PPSH-41, PPS-43c, or the KP-44. just for a fun range toy and SBR project , but I ant make up my mind...What do you all think I should get next of the 3?

Any of those old sub mechine gus are going to be iffy whether they work right or not, especially since they have been cut up and had their receivers replaced.  Either they will work or they won’t.  Since you already have the Suomi k31 I would get something with a folding stock.  If you don’t really care about the history then just get the KP-44 more ammo is available.

I vote the KP44.  I also have a Suomi and have been thinking about the KP44.   Mags are the same(and cheap) and I don't have to start stocking another(harder to find locally) caliber.

i think i will start with the pps43c, then get the kp-44, and finaly the ppsh-41, and have my dad cut the shroud to the original lengh, but the 16" barrel will stick through no biggie.....

So, what's the verdict on the M31s? I've heard they have problems feeding from the drum mags, which to me is the best part of the rifle. They sure look old school cool, tho.
My vote would be for the Papa Shaw 41. I love that gun. Some company named Diva makes a semi auto copy, with the correct length barrel shroud. Anyone have any experience with them?
And Centerfire is taking back orders for the KP44 pistol, at $399.

my suomi had drum issues all 3 I have what fixed the issue was drum tension as my drums were from the mid 1930's once that was fixed they run great!!!! here is how to adjust the tension on these pattern drums ppsh as well

If the top round in the drum takes a 'nose dive' and doesn't feed, it usually means the drum spring tension is too weak. To increase the tension of the drum, make sure the drum is empty and the follower is forward all the way at the feed lips' opening. Turn the spring assembly to the left for one or two clicks. Take a screwdriver and remove the screw that holds the cylinder-shaped follower. Making sure the spring tension release button on the back side is away from any surface that might suddenly release the tension while your fingers are inside the drum, carefully turn the spring assembly to the left two full turns, replace the follower back in the same original position, close to the feed lip opening. Try shooting again with the drum. If feeding problems still exist, repeat the above and retry until correct tension produces flawless feeding.

Also I went for a pps-43c fired great w/ current przi 7.62x25 no issues other than 3 ftf due to a mag issues, and I will have my TNW from mil. gun supply in about 2 weeks, when I get it the barrel shroud will be cut and re-welded to the original lenth, but will retain the 16'' barrel. Hope this all helps
