New to lever actions… Need some guidance. (Page 2 of 2)

Relevant to my current interests. I’ve too have been jonesing also for a Lever Action Rifle, and have also been thinking about the 45/70 question. But now I’m leaning towards the .357 direction. I’m looking for a light weight long hiking day rifle. I could pair my Ruger Security Six with it. Now, what make and model?! Never owned or operated a lever action rifle. Need to fix that discrepancy. Thank you OP for starting this thread and asking the right questions. |

Between the clearance price, the $50 rebate, spending the rebate on clearance ammo that had a rebate amd then selling the ammo, I'm into my Remlin 1895 for about $154. I do want to shoot a .444 though. |
