Just picked up my .22 henry lever action and it will not feed a single round. Ive only tried winchester bulk pack. All of them jam. And jam good as in I've got to pick the round out. They will fit in the chamber but will not feed when working the action. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Update: just got the gun back yesterday. Seems to feed everything good. They replaced the carrier and test fired it. Three weeks excatly it was gone. When I got it back seems to havea few nicks and scratches in a couple places I don't remember but no big deal this gun will be used a lot. I would say I'm pretty satisfied with it. Oh and I shot shorts, longs and colibri's out of it and fed everything. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

My Henry H1001 would not run Win. 333/555 for chit. I have almost 20k of that stuff.
I sent it back due to that issue also wood to metal fit at the tang was kinda dissapointing. I told them I hand selected this particular gun due to the stock having nice wood. They sent it back to me with a freggin awesome new set of furniture with sweet wood grain. I was really impressed with the wood. It still did not like Win.333/555 so I shot Federal bulk instead. Now that the Henry is broken in it runs Win. 333/555. Also if you are.looking to scope your Henry, D.M.Z.'s Marlin model 60 mount works really good with the Henry's dovetail. |

Well gun is on its way back to henry. Tried a few other brands of ammo and it still jammed right up. See how it goes. Also I did buy this from my lgs. Took it back to them and they are sending it back. So they said if it takes to long at henry they would just exchange the gun if I want.

I had a problem with my 22lr golden boy I got as a gift. It would jam the casing in the chamber and wouldn't extract it so I sent it back to henry. They polished the chamber and sent it back. It works now but is kind of picky on what brand ammo I use.
The kicker is I bought a standard model about a year before and that eats everything. |
