I promised the owner of Henry Repeating Arms if he lived up to the reputation of customer service with me, I would post it here. They are absolutely the best at customer service of any company in the firearms business, bar none. I bought a Henry rifle from Bud's online, and it was shipped quickly to my FFL. Didn't notice anything at the FFL, but when I got it home, noticed a problem with the rear sight. The issue with the sight was either caused by Bud's or UPS, but not Henry. I sent an email to Mr. Imperato at Henry, and he told me to contact Tom to get a call tag with UPS. My company ships 50-60 packages every day with UPS and I offered to ship it myself. "it would be an insult to HENRY" for me to do that, according to Tom. So, UPS label is in my inbox that afternoon. within 10 days the rifle is in pristine condition from the folks at HENRY and back in my possesion. Thanks to all of the employees of HENRY and especially Tom and Mr. Imperato for living up to their reputation. By the way, I have never heard back from Bud's.
Sorry guys. Made a correction and double tapped. |

Made a correction and double tapped. Stories like this are one of the reasons I bought .22 Lever Action . has not skipped a beat and just plain works. Always good to hear any company making good on their promise and products. Craig |

I've had a Henry .22lr lever action for the past 3 or 4 years and have enjoyed shooting it a great deal.
The sights were initially off about 6" left at 25 yards. It took a bit of effort and a larger hammer than I would like to use on a firearm, but I did get the rear sight drifted to the right enough to hit close enough to center at 50 yards to make me happy. My brother has been interested in getting one and finally found enough free time to join my son and me at the range to shoot it this past Saturday. He couldn't stop talking about how smooth it is. I think he is sold on getting one soon. I was able to shoot my new Henry pump .22lr this weekend also. It's not as smooth as the lever action, but I think it will improve as I shoot it more. Between the 3 of us, we put 150 rounds through the new pump. It is a lot of fun. Now my son is interested in getting a Henry in .357 to go with his Ruger Blackhawk. I am looking forward to shooting it as well. Dave |

Just got the plain Jane H001 yesterday. Normally I'm an AK type of guy but these lever action 22's are fun. I would like to hear about some round counts that some of you guys have on your Henry 22 lever actions. My oldest has more than I could possibly count.... Newer one has about 1500 rounds or so through it. |

I tried to sight in my new Henry and it shoots about 2 inches high at 25 yards even with the rear sight adjustment completly removed. The rear sight is sitting on the barrel and it is still that high. Should I contact Henry about this or just deal with it? Yep. They'll take care of you. |
| I bought a Henry Youth 22. Planned on installing a Williams WRGS sight on the rimfire groove rail. I called Tom at Henry and asked about buying a 22 WRM front sight assembly and toold him what I was planning. He said no issue asked for address and serial # and it arrived 3 days later for FREE! Great company. Beautiful rifle. Sighting in this weekend. |

Maybe I'll wait until his first birthday. |

They are absolutely the best at customer service of any company in the firearms business, bar none. Seems like a feller would have to have an immense amount of experience, with a broad range of companies, to make a statement like this. I agree with your point, but they are damn good, especially the president of the company. Years ago I was on a website, in the .22 forum, asking questions about some failure to feed problems I was having with one of my henry AR-7 rifles. The president of henry was a member and actually had UPS stop by my house the next to pick the rifle up. I figured he would mail a label to ship it but nope. They fixed it and had it back to me, it has been 100% with ammo it likes since ( those rifles are very picky about the ammo they will function with, nature of the beast ). One of their lever guns is on the list to buy someday for sure. |
