I have a Winchester 94 and I'd like to add a few things to make it a more enjoyable rifle to shoot.  First thing I'd like to add is a two-point sling.  When I purchased this rifle, it had no sling mounts front or rear.  Second thing I'd like to add is possibly a peep sight.  It currently has the wedge type rear sight, and all the way down, still shoots high at 100 yards.  Third is new furniture, since the original stock was broken and fixed at one point.  Any recommendations on products and/or brands would be appreciated.   I don't want to do too much, since its from 1947-1948.

I wouldn't touch it if it is all original.

On a pre-64 gun, in good condition I personally wouldn't alter it by drilling metal.

Which is what you'd have to do to attach a receiver sight. EEyyuuwww!

A Lyman Tang sight looks way better, but still requires a hole drilled in the tang.

Reproduction wood can dress it up, and you can mount swivel studs in it (not the original wood, please!)
Stocks

You could always use a shotgun/muzzleloader sling - loops used - no studs needed!
