My wife shot this pic a week or two ago experimenting with a few new lenses. It is posted in another thread in GD, but it seems it would fit in perfect here.
Oh, and BTW, she bought me this rifle for Christmas last year. The only thing I have done to it was to replace the rear sight with a Skinner peep.

Hell, she would love that. She has a fondness for horses, but had to give them up about 5 years ago when we moved. |

im digging these, my next rifle i want is a marlin 1895 guide gun in 45-70, couple of questions.. is the ported barrel better?, also Phil1712, where did you get the furniture for your marauder?. and where do you guys find the extended tubes for the 45-70? and where do you get the rails?
yes if im getting one i want to add some party favors to it

All the add on goodies are mostly available at Brownells, with the exception of the extended mag tube. Keep in mind, that extended tube is going to cost you, as I believe your barrel has to be machined for the attachment of the tube. Marlin makes one already "pimped out" if thats what you are looking for.

Winchester 94 Theodore Roosevelt commemorative 30-30. I fired this gun earlier today and was pretty surprised by its accuracy. I had not shot this gun in over twelve years, the last time was when i was in the FORTH grade while shooting at a hog. This thing kicks like a mule and spits fire. I remember once when I was young I shot a hog in low light conditions and was amazed by the flame. Even today in broad daylight the flame seemed bright. The recoil was pretty strong today and I cant imagine that i liked firing this thing in the fourth grade. Does anyone know if this is a pre or post 64?

Well I've been waiting for 8 months to have Marlin pictures to post. The guns are being shipped today, but I received some pictures last night. I bought two new Marlins, the stainless one I have never seen, and shipped them off to Colorado, to Lee Hadaway. Here is what I will be getting back. The one in Black Guncoat is a .450 Marlin, the matt stainless one is in .45-70.
