| Was roaming around a resale shop the other day and came across a couple of filing cabinet firesafes for sale. The store had a couple that were 5 or 6 drawer about normal file cabinet high, but 24 or so inches wide and probably 30 in deep. Goodly sized. Lockable fire rated cabinets. Anyone ever repurposed one as a gunsafe? Would be mainly handgun safe,but AR would break down and fit. Would throw off a thief, never be looking got guns in that old thing. Tempted as they should be better fire rating than most new safes. |
