Can anyone recommend a good wireless home security system brand?

New homeowner, looking to install it myself.

Thinking about honeywell Lynx. There is an ADT base station in the house, so I'd rip that out and use the power wiring for this.

ADT wants $950 to install wireless sensors.

2gig you could do that and they have a box you can get that would convert all your pre wired zones to wireless takeover but really if you just want something quick easy and good simplisafe is a good choice ... 60 days for a FULL REFUND ... hope that helps

ETA: the up side to the 2gig system is it uses z-wave so you can easily add home automation to it
