I have ADT security for a general house alarm, and I was looking at upgrading my security to include some cameras.  ADT offers some cameras made by Honeywell, that seem ok.  The price i was quoted was about $800 for 3 outdour cameras and 1 indoor camera.  I will be able to access the cameras from 6 different devices (iPad, iPhone, etc.)  Any reason not to?  I am sure i could do some myself, but i don't have a lot of spare time right now.  Anyone know how these cameras stand up?  Any other reasonable offers like AT&T Digital Life?  Thanks in advance.

My question would be "who else can access those cameras?"  If the answer isn't (provably) "absolutely nobody" then I think I'd take a very dim view of an indoor camera.

The only indoor cameras if have through a company would be pointed directly at exterior doors. The hackers of the world have proven nothing is safe that the internet can access.

I have replaced several of the ADT camera systems, and to be honest I was not impressed, and neither were the owners.  Where in Texas are you located, I might be able to steer you towards a few companies.

Adt guy that installed my new system a few months ago talked me out of them. He said they are not worth it! He said I could get much better cameras for cheaper price.

Yeah, I would also say steer clear of them. I've had 2 of these POS icamera 1000's crap out on me in the past 2 weeks (they were installed almost exactly 1 year prior to the onset of the issues). I'm in the market for a stand alone camera system as I type this.
