Howdy all,
Thinking on pulling the trigger on a 24 gun safe but need some advice. I did do a search but found nothing. The safe would have to be stored upstairs, house was built in the 60's, safe weighs 507lbs empty. Was planning to put it on an outside wall. Am I going to be ok? I figure I will as the footprint is pretty big and 500lbs is less than a lot of couples and their bed. Should i make a pedistal? If so just MDF underneath? Can't bolt it down as its a rental, gotta wait til I own. Tips on getting it upstairs? Door comes off so it should be about 400lbs to move upstairs. thanks! |
