There are a lot of options for offsite storage of valuables.  Many of these places are more physically secure than your home could ever be.  Some places offer a rather unconventional approach.

"...I can't recall many legitimate reasons a person would want an anonymous lock box...perhaps many people are so distrusting of our federally insured banks..." I don't think this LVRJ reporter understands that safety deposit boxes at banks aren't insured:

They have some pictures of gun safes on their website,  I can't tell if they're selling them, or offer onsite storage for firearms.  The stickers on the safes makes me think it's onsite storage.

If you are in the LV area, it looks like there will be a fire-sale on gunsafes and safety deposit boxes.
