Most people have not heard of Fire King, yet they are one of the largest safe manufacturers in the world along with AMSEC and Sentry. They are a big company that likes to gobble up little companies, and for awhile, owned Granite Security.
The safe that you have is one of the last Granites built in the US. It's certanly worth free, and it's not a bad safe. I am not familiar with all of their models off the top of my head, but I don't recall any with doors that thick. |

The guy that was moving my safe commented that the door was really thick. You can really feel the weight of the door when opening and closing it. Very heavy. |

A little bit of research, and I found out that Cobalt (the old gun safe manufacturer, not the newer importer using the same name) was also involved at some point with the Winchester name. I have seen a handful of Cobalts locally, and they are very well built with heavier bodies and doors.
I would need to look into it a bit further, but that may be what you have. Could be a Cobalt with the Winchester name on it. |

I contacted Meilink and they said to contact FireKing. I contacted FireKing and they had my serial number on record. |
