I ordered the Browning AR34F the other day, and then the education began...

I went to the Sturdy Safe channel on YouTube and was amazed at what I saw.  All of the run of the mill safe companies tout the amount of time it takes to break into their safe to persuade you to buy their product, and offered free replacement or repair if you have a burglary attempt and the safe does it's job.  Next came Sturdy Safe, and they aren't worried about how long it takes to break into their safe, but not being able to be broken into at all is their deal.  And their safe was fully operational after they tugged on it w/ a 10000 lb. forklift.  I called Terry and talked with him and got squared away on a 3627-6.  He told me to order it this week because they are on sale.  So, today I called and ordered my safe and it should be here next week.  I got a smoking deal:

3627-6
fire liner
key in dial lock
#3 interior w/ easy out loop
6 gun pistol rack
dri rod
electrical outlet hole
bolt down holes

all for $2865

How did I do?

Thanks for pointing me in the direction that offered me the best bang for my buck.  I can always count on my friends at arfcom.

The 3627-6 is a great size - I think you'll have plenty of room in it and getting a 7ga product instead of the 12ga product you were going to go with is one heck of an upgrade (about 70% thicker) for roughly the same money.  Congrats - post pics when ya get it

can you direct me to the link where the guy built the box around the sturdy safe.  I am going to put mine in the garage and want to disguise it like that.

thanks

COOL!!!

My safe arrived today in good condition.  I got the 3627-72 fire lined when they were on sale last week.  They forgot the electric hole.  If I call them I am sure I can mail the DriRod back and get the battery one and it will be no issue.  I live in dry country anyway and am not worried about it really.  Terry said guys in Kalifornia put them in their garage with no dehumidifier and they do just fine in the humid climate (the fire lined ones that is).

I had the same experience with the delivery of mine and the truck lift gate not working.  I called the John Deere house at the end of the street, and they came and set it down in my driveway.  A couple of friends and I will move it into the garage tonight.

The quality of this thing is awesome.  I would hate to be the one to try to get into that thing without a combination.

Pics to come tonight when I get to work.
