I was considering this safe.  A local store has one on clearance for $1550.00 - normal price was $2199.00

Browning BR41F

It is a black gloss finish and is  60" x 44" x 27 @ 805lbs

Anyone have any thoughts?

Browning makes quality safes as long as you buy their upper end stuff made in the states.....

Not sure if their Bronze series is made here or overseas

I would buy a SAFE with thicker body steel. Please look around. If you live in a large city or near one, you can get yourself a very nice safe made with thicker steel for that amount of money.

I had a Browning that weighed 550#. Sold it for a safe that weighes 1200#. Moving this baby ain`t fun.

Check this out. Video below.

Go for the Gold.  Don't settle for anything less than (thinner than) 10ga.

Sorry, try to find a medalion or above. They have thicker steel and MUCH better interiors for guns.

Get a Medallion series. 10 Gauge like others mentioned. I love mine.

Thanks but I passed on this one - I found out it was made in china + its to big to fit in my safe spot.  I have to get a couple small ones instead.
