After learning about them on this thread, I ordered a set of the Rifle Rods and Handgun Hangers last week.  As soon as they arrived (just a couple days later!), I installed the Handgun Hangers.  I must say, they're awesome!  I'll be installing the Rifle Rods ASAP.

My Summit Safe Company "Teton"...a discontinued model that I got a Hell of a deal on...still trying to figure out & organize everything that's going into it...

Not the biggest or the best, but for the $$$ there wasn't anything else that could match it...it'll do the job until I can afford to upgrade.

Here's a run-down of the features:

-1/4" Thick SOLID Steel Door
-Heavy 12 Gauge Steel Body
-Exclusive Double Quad Sleeve Relocker Security
-7 Active 1" Diameter Door Bolts (3 Sides + Dead Bolts)
-Ball Bearing / Diam-a-Shield Hard Plate
-Sargent and Greenleaf Group II Lock
-Chrome Dial and 3 Spoke Chrome Handle
-Premium Terry Velor Interior

Home Depot - 10 tie rack, mounted back to back - they were $7 each (I used 8).  Made by Closet-Maid I think.  Best I could come up with without making something from scratch.

Not to detract, but is that a pee stain under the potted plant, or is that something else?

Figured I should post mine up for the financially challenged guys.

I had limited funds and limited space for a safe, at the time and the wife required me to get one, prior to getting anything else (ie the AR and two lowers).  Concealment and difficulty of access are my two main security features.  I had an under the stairs coat closet on a concrete pad.  I was hoping to get a left hand open and actually slide it under the stairs, but that didn't happen.

Looking straight into the closet you don't see anything but well a dark coat closet.

Get enough light in there and start digging and you might find this:

Coats slid away.

Fully opened.  I can't open the door any wider than that.  I can barely squeeze in there to sort through my stuff.

Not bad getting seven rifles, four pistols, two receivers, ~40 magazines and ~5000 rounds of ammo in a "16 gun" safe.

It is wedged into two load bearing walls and bolted to the floor with four 3000psi shear strength heavy duty masonry anchors.
Full it only weighs 332lbs.  I thought it was heavier than it is,

I really want a Smith Security Safes pistol safe; which is pretty much one of the above, cut in half, for my bed side gear.  But they cost more than this full size did.

http://www.smithsecuritysafes.com/

Built right here in Ohio and they're good guys, if you are in the area, you can go up and check out their business.

I posted the whole story in Team, but I thought I'd come back and post some "after" pics...

125 guns in a "41-gun" safe –– not too shabby.

Seriously, though, when I get the other safes relocated/other guns rearranged, I plan to de-clutter that crowded bottom section significantly...

Well after much searching I scored an awsome deal on a safe today, I am still organising it but thought I would take some pics for you guys. It cost me around $630 after tax. It is marketed as 20 gun safe but with a differnt cutout on the right side of the safe I could easly fit 24 rifles in it.

Like the key idea - I'll have to use that one.  How much and at what rate?  I always have $ to loan if the deal is right.

Picked up this Cabela's/Cannon safe yesterday. It measures 60''Hx36''Wx24''D. 600lbs. Fire rated at 1200 for 30min. Originally priced at $1399.99 on their website. The store here in KC had it for $849.99 plus a 10% military discount. Out the door was $823.50.

Hope this pic comes out, it is my first pic on this site. This is a walk-in Gun safe I built into the house when I built it, I am a masonry contractor and a General contractor, I have 8” block a concrete ceiling and floor, so I have a minimum of 8” of concrete and rebar all around my guns and ammo. The Vault door was free, I had to replace one at a School and kept the old one, 35 bucks and a locksmith came out and gave me a new combo.

these are old pics I have since add some guns and hung guns on wall ect.

That is identical, right down to the locks and the interior, to my Canon safe, I got mine for a similar price through Costco.  I'm guessing that there are a few resellers who simply slap a different logo on the door.  I'll post pics later today, I've never really taken any good ones.
