I just bought a MPX. If using a primary arms or bushnell red dot is a riser needed? If so what height?

Doesn't your mpx have iron sights? What height are those?

Absolute cowitness mount on a Trijicon Mro on a MPX gives almost lower 1/3 cowitness with factory flip up irons.

The tall mount that came with my Romeo 4c is about perfect to me.

I have a sig Romeo 3 on an mpx and romeo 5 on an mcx. Oddly they both line up perfectly. for $139 the 5 was a great deal.

Personal preference, but I run a 1/3 cowitness height mount on my MPX(optic is MRO). I don't like to bring my head down to the optic if I can help it, and the 1/3 mount helps me be able to keep my head more upright.

Ive also run an EOTech xps sight on it, and it works nicely as well. Similar height to the MRO.

Yup...personal preference....I like a good low checkweld and the low mount with the tele stock works for me.  My buddy thinks it's too low and he runs a the Romeo4c using the included low mount which is just fractions higher than the MRO low mount.

I just got a Vortex Spark AR for mine, absolute co-witness with the irons without riser, bottom 1/3 co-witness with the riser. Very happy with the optic so far.
