I have an MPX Pistol with the side fold arm brace stock. While waiting for my SBR approval, I'm wondering if that tube with the knurling could be removed and replace with a regular buffer tube. This could save a bunch of money, if possible. It looks like it should be threaded in, but I see no set screw. Maybe it's Loctited? Have anyone attempted such a modification? Thanks for your help.

Ive thought about doing the same, and replacing the Sig brace with a Shockwave. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I have a Gen 1 folder and the rubber part that's supposed to lock it open wore out.
Called Sig for just that small piece and they told me it's discontinued and sent me the Gen 2 knuckle.
AR buffer tubes thread right on.
