I just noticed this on my MPX gen 1.
I have less than 500 rounds of American Eagle 115 gr through it unsupressed. I do plan on calling Sig CS but wanted to get feedback from other users first. Anyone see this before? Catsworth |

When prepping to have mine cerakoted i noticed some damage on the same location...not as bad as yours though.
The funny part is that I can't remember ever having a stove pipe which is what I would expect have caused the damage unless it was always there from manufacturing and I just never noticed it before. |

That was what I thought when I looked at it while detail stripping my upper, thinking that a thin soft aluminum edge like that can't possible last very long and was considering filing it down before the cerakote. In the end, I just pushed it somewhat straight again as I was afraid that it would screw with how the brass would fly if I took it down. |

The Gen 2 has a wider ejection port because of the 40 cal conversion coming. Has nothing to do with 9mm and I have fired 500 rounds from my Gen 1 and have no damage what soever. |

I've shot a variety of ammo suppressed and unsupressed. Every casing ejected has a pretty sizable dent in the side. Has this not been the case for you, or other gen1 owners for that matter? |
