So I picked up a new MPX-p yesterday.  As I disassembled the pistol I noticed there was no firing pin spring.  The manual shows a spring that encircles the firing pin.  Mine is a Gen 2 with the keymod rail.  Please  tell me the gen 2 doesn't have a firing pin spring so I don't have to contact Sig to get a spring shipped to me.  I'm dying to shoot it tomorrow but it looks like I'll have wait.

I have a carbine and pistol,  both Gen 2.  When I cleaned them and took out the firing pins,  neither had a spring.   It is very similar to an AR-15 and there is no spring that comes out with the firing okn either.

All is good as the Gen 2's DO NOT have a fire pin spring.
