| Anyone see any offered yet? I'd rather buy a 4-1/2" bbl than cut down the one that came with the gun. |

Supposed to be available for first-quarter 2016 usually I add 6-12mo to these manufacturer's suppositions. Anyone remember the ACR release debacle, next quarter, next quarter, next quarter. By the time they came out it was too little too late since the scar beat them to the punch. I digress. |

Were the ACR barrels ever actually released for purchase? |

From what I've heard these barrels are horribly out of round. Much less than buying a new barrel, when they are ever going to be for sale. |

I don't know about the out of round issue but I agree with chopping now. It is simple to have done and I'd bet, since the 8" are being made now then they'll be the first to hit the market. So chop this one and replace with a new 8" when they hit the shelves if you still feel you want it. |
