I just picked up a SIg 516 today - have not yet shot it. One question....
I wanna put an extra TRL light at the front end of the forward rail - on the bottom rail. When the gun fires - the piston doesn't vent down, does it? Anyone think it will be an issue to have a light there? |

I have a SCAR but am new to cleaning ARs.
Quick question - I have been told that Breakfree CLP will likely evaporate on the bolt fast on a DI rifle. On a piston setup like the Sig 516 - it should be good enough, right? It works fine on my SCAR with no issues. I have allergies, and Breakfree CLP is one of the few lubes I can use with no issues inside. What does everyone think? |
