I just bought a new 522 this weekend from Cabelas and had a question for you guys

I want to fold the stock and have it lock in place, but after looking at the male and female parts I'm hesitant.  To me it looks/feelis like if I slam this thing home and lock it, I'm never going to get it opened up again.  Is there a special trick I'm missing here or am I just dumb?

Thanks guys

And the required photo of said 522

On the Sig 522 with std. Handgards. That little plastic tab. Is the first thing to brake. The Sig Swat rail has a metal tab. I am not sure about the samson. But you might want to dump the stock at some point and upgrade to a Magpull Stock with a Double Diamond adaptor.

I just dumb.

I've folded mine a few times, but with care. I noticed the plastic and took appropriate care with it. I would also recommend the refit with the M4 stock, but, alas, fiscal policy at this time prohibits it.
