As always thanks for looking. I might be buying one of these lil carbines which serial # is XA0194xx.
Question is, how can I tell if this is a new batch or an older one? Does anybody know what the serial numbers are up to sig522 wise?

This is one of the newer ones as I bought mine in June of this year(2010) and my serial number is XA191xx(mine is the swat model).

got mine a week ago. born on date nov 2010 # is xa020xx
