Okay, I remember seeing someone here post a photo of a self-made mag release extension. Who was it? Are you willing to sell me one?
I purchased one of these but it won't work on the Sig 556 as there are too many ribs sticking out on the left side that get in the way when trying to seat it all together. I think you need to stick with a regular style button but then screw on an extended release....something more along these lines. Anyone have ideas on this? Thanks |

You have the right idea. Its got to be a 2 piece unit to work. Take the extended unit you have and cut the portion that goes into the receiver off leaving only the disc. Get a proper length allen screw and screw this disc onto the flipped(smooth side out) factory mag button. Works fantastic. It is more sensitive to unintended mag release however. Great for range work etc but for serious duty I'd revert to the factory setup. |
