Yes, it works great. I used to notice the ears digging into my finger before putting the gapper in. No problems since I added one.

The Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard is also a good solution...

FYI
My trigger hit my Magpul tigger guard. It would fire but would not move the full range of trigger.
Gapper works great.

Got one on mine. Works great, almost invisible
