I now have my official paper FFL!! So, now it's time to file my Class 3 paper work, and send in some Tax money. They way I understand it, I ca go ahead and send the app and money in, but put down that it's not to start till June 1 of 2016. That way....App is in but don't have to pay the $500 twice in the same year. Any other advice, or tips are welcome. Thanks. |

Already have EIN, so all good there. I'll Send it in first thing next week, and put the start date 7-1-16. Everything would be in place that way...Correct? Just out of curiosity.... Any reason why you would be turned down for a class 3/ SOT?? Like location or zoning or something I'm not thinking of? |

Also, get your EIN NOW if you do not have one. I miss interpreted that! The correct response should be Fill out form, send a few days prior to June 1. (that way it can be received on June 1) and its for the tax year July 1 2016 to June 30 2017. I need to slow down some when read over the responses, its been a long week. Between setting up a store, remodeling our home (while still living there), and getting equipment ready for the planting season, there needs to be a few more hours in the day! |
