Just got the call, interview at 11!

Nope, Bill Maxwell. Very nice and thorough guy, he got there at 11:05 and we wrapped up at 1:50. I know I'm not ready for an 07 so just sticking with an 01 to start with, maybe revisit the 07 at a later date. Only thing left is to send them a letter from the local police chief saying i can do business here and that's it.

On a federal level all you are required to do is provide a copy of your completed application to the CLEO in your area. He doesn't need to sign it. |

If your township/city/county requires a business permit to operate a business, the prospective FFL has to provide the approved business permit to the ATF.
Perhaps in your area, the CLEO gives the go-ahead to run a business? Or he's on the approval chain for a business permit? |
