Looking at a location where I don't want to actually keep a firearms inventory.  I've read here off site storage is no problem.

How does ATF habdle "At my apartment, inside my safe" for such storage.

I've seen the requirements for tagging personal vs FFL firearms.

This would also be in a different city, but same county.

You'll need to make notation on your bound books, that you'll keep at the licensed location.

Yes, you'll want to keep your personal inventory tagged as to not confuse any agent doing your audit. (they WILL question why you have weapons not in your A&D books)

So, is your business premises somewhere other than your apartment? But to answer your question, yes, you can use your apartment as offsite storage - but be aware if there is business inventory it must be on your books. Having your apartment as offsite storage means that ATF can come look at the firearms when doing an inspection to make sure they're on your books. If you also keep personal guns in the safe, tag them as 'personal not for sale' (but your post makes me believe you are aware of this requirement already).
