Hey guys. So i sent off my Application about a month ago. I was just wondering if there was a way to contact anybody from the ATF and find out the status on my application?

Also is there anything i need to have or be ready for when it come to the interview?

My main business is going to be gunsmithing with sales as supplemental income.

They will contact you within 30 days after cashing your check..

I sent my application in on the July 16th and ATF called me on Sept 4th to schedule my interview. My interview was on Sept 11th and I received my license on Sept 26th.

Took 44 days from the time payment cleared until I was called to schedule my interview.

my interview was 89 days from when I mailed my app

My app was mailed Aug 21 and had my interview Oct 15

I guess that they are taking longer now. Probably too many applications..

I was told that mine was delayed because the ATF was having their year end. for what that is worth.
