Thanks to a little birdy, I have a line on another one of these units coming on the secondary market, but I need to make sure I understand a couple of things.

The unit that might be for sale is in a MSAR trigger housing.

Can anyone confirm that the guts of the unit can be swapped into a Steyr trigger housing at the end user level without any machining required?  Basically, I can operate a set of punches, but I don't have access to a mill to do any serious modification.

Secondly, if the answer to the first question is no, what modifications are necessary to get the MSAR trigger housing to work in a Steyr stock.

Finally, am I correct in my understanding that when properly set up in a Steyr trigger housing, that the bolt release function is still operable in an A3 Steyr stock.

ETA:  For those curious, I will be paying in the neighborhood of what the one recently went for on Gunbroker.  So yes, there is some pent-up demand for these things out there.

The HTM itself is a universal fit to both the Steyr and MSAR hammer packs.  The swap takes just minutes and no alteration required.  Ones that came with an MSAR housing would work in an A3; it just doesn't have bolt release function due to a different lever design.  Once the unit is properly installed to an A3 housing, the only difference is the pull of the trigger and the charging handle.
