I have a 20in MSAR with the upgraded E4 stock and a top rail - shoots great and never have had an issue with it (3000rd).
Have a chance to buy a standard 16in barrel rifle with factory optic in excellent condition - the seller said there is no issues with the optic. Can I tell right off if the optic is good to go? Or did problems with the the scopes developed over time? Is there a serial number range that had bad optics? If the optic is fine, the asking price would almost justify parting out the rifle (keeping the barrel and optic - selling the rest). Thoughts? |
