I like my rfb, not particularly accurate but an extremely handy, hog slaying, truck gun. That said as most know it suppresses like crap with the gas adjust cap all the way off.
I have the 1st gen gas system. I seem to have read the 2nd gen is better for suppressed use or there is another piston available from KT? I've also read about the gas vent shroud from Tornado Technologies but those were all old posts. What is the current fix? Thanks |
| I have a 1st generation RFB and it surpesses great. I use a AAC M240 SD and it is just as quiet as it is on the M16. The only issues that I have (unsupressed or otherwise) is that it won't feed rounds from any magazine over 20 rds. It seems to only reliably feed rds from FN FAL 20 rd magazines. I have 30 rd converted Bren magazines that worked fine in the DSA FAL, but, not in the RFB. I also have 30 rd DSA FAL magazines that jam every second round in the RFB. FN FAL mags are flawless. |
