I am thinking of buying one of the Talon Scope Mounts for my MSAR STG and was wondering how the cheek weld is? It looks kind of high...am I better off getting a regular picatinny rail and mounting my scope to that? HELP PLEASE!

Do you have the railed version already or the optic version?
If you have the railed version stick with it.
If you have the optic version get the 2020 rail from ratworx.

IMHO cheekweld w/the Talon30 is just about perfect (YMMV) and it's lighter than a rail w/rings or rail w/mount setup.

The centerline of the scope rings is 1.85" off the comb of the stock, the exact same as the AUG A1 factory optic and the now discontinued MSAR "E4" height factory optic.
