Purpose of this thread is to post accuracy information.
Please do not post anything else in this thread.

posts should include:
1. Bullpup firearm used and barrel length, optic, etc.
2. Shooting position and location (indoor / outdoor)
3. Ammunition used
4. Distance to target
5. Size of group, number of shots fired, etc.

EXAMPLE:
MSAR E4 with 20 inch 1:8 barrel and 4x Trijicon Accupoint fired at 50 yards from prone at an outdoor range.
rifle zeroed at 50 yards with 55 grain M193 ball.

ten rounds 62 grain Brown Bear hollow point on a five of diamonds Bicycle brand playing card (2.5 by 3.5 inches)

if you look close you can see where the tenth round barely impacted the bottom of the card near the center
repeatedly about 2.25 inch extreme spread at 50 yards or about 4.5 MOA

ten rounds 55 grain Herters (Tula) full metal jacket on a three of spades Bicycle brand playing card (2.5 by 3.5 inches)

missing five shots impacted further left, off of the card

I usually shoot five to ten round groups but I ran out of ammunition and some of the following rounds were quite expensive.
I primarily wanted to see how the point of impact would change with different rounds.

three rounds of Federal 55 grain Barnes Triple-Shock
each square is one inch

three rounds of Federal 60 grain Nosler Partiion
(note the exposed lead tip on the bullet)

three rounds of PMC 62 grain X-Tac (M855)

I have gotten 1" groups at 100yds with my TPD AXR.  Its got a 16" barrel, 1 in 8" twist, a worked over hammer pack (no trigger tamer yet though), bushnell 4200 1-4x scope.  I use very little factory ammo in this gun.  Mostly reloads.  The 1 in 8" barrel is picky about bullet weight.  Best I can do with 55gr lake city FMJ bullets is get 2" or so.  With 62gr ss109 and hornady 60gr SP flat base bullets I can consistently get 1-1.2" 5 shot groups.  Probably less if i worked on the loads like i did on the 55gr loads and had a bit better control and patience.  All groups I do are at 100yds and all groups are 5 shot.

Desert Tactical SRS in .308win
Scope: Leupold VXIII 4.5-14x40AO
Mount: DTA 30moa
Bipod: Harris benchrest swivel 6"-9" with A.R.M.S. #32 adapter
Ammo used: 168gr FGMM
Range: 100yds
Position: Prone with sand sock.

4rds into .24" with the 5th(left-most hole) opening it up to .44" (center to center)

This was while zeroing and that is the only target photo I took that day. Pretty typical group from this rifle.......the biggest variable being the jerk behind the trigger.

MSAR E4 16 inch 1:8 barrel with 2x Trijicon ACOG
zeroed at 50 yards with 55 grain M193 (usually about 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards)

five rounds of Federal M193 at 50 yards while seated at a bench (not supported)

ten rounds of Federal M193 at 50 yards from prone on a jack of hearts Bicycle brand playing card (2.5 by 3.5 inches)
one round off of the card...not sure where it went or if i even fired it (may have only loaded nine rounds)

ten rounds of Brown Bear 62 grain hollow point at 50 yards from prone on a queen of hearts Bicycle brand playing card (2.5 by 3.5 inches)

ten rounds of Herters (Tula) 55 grain FMJ at 50 yards from prone on a king of hearts Bicycle brand playing card (2.5 by 3.5 inches)
two rounds off card, impacted to right.

Interestingly, it appears that the Herters ammunition groups to the left side of a target when fired from my MSAR with 20" barrel (see original report) and to the right when fired from my MSAR with 16" barrel.  I can only guess that this may be related to velocity or barrel twist rate (reports that not all MSAR barrels are 1:8) if not shooter induced.  However, I fired several targets with similar results.  I'd appreciate a private message if anyone can explain this phenomenon.

Steyr AUG A3 Nato 2x Acog bench rest at 50 yards 5 rounds 55 grain Federal M193

Steyr AUG A3 Nato 2x Acog bench rest at 50 yards 5 rounds 55 grain Federal Barnes TS

Steyr AUG A3 Nato 2x Acog bench rest at 50 yards 5 rounds 60 grain Federal Nosler Partition

Steyr AUG A3 Nato 2x Acog bench rest at 50 yards 5 rounds 62 grain PMC X-TAC

Steyr AUG A3 Nato 2x Acog prone 50 yards 5 rounds 55 grain Herters (Tula)

Steyr AUG A3 Nato 2x Acog 100 yards 5 rounds 75 grain Tula
Can't remember what position i fired from but i just wanted to check for keyholeing.  It would appear that the 1:9 barrel will stabilize the heavier round at 100 yards.  note the significant change in point of impact versus 55 grain m193

Steyr AUG A3 Nato 2x Acog prone 300 yards 20 rounds 55 grain Herters (Tula)
note: Rfle zeroed at 50 yards with 55 grain Federal m193.  As demonstrated above the Herters impacts significantly lower at 50 yards and I suspect that the additional 9 rounds impacted off the bottom of the target.  Ten rounds struck the siluhete (12 inches across and 17.5 inches tall) and one round struck just below the silhouette but still breaking the bottom plane of the paper.
