If you want one now at suggested retail or less there are several right now on Gunbroker.com.

Since they have been out for two years now and the prices have not gone down any you will probably have a very long wait for them to get below MSRP.

Supply and demand is not in your favor. With demand being what it is, I don't think you are going to call any shop blind and get an honest order done. Any shop owner who receives one is going to maximize his profits at auction rather than making $100 off you. Unless you have a solid relationship, I wouldn't waste time with a preorder.

GB is your best bet. I've seen some go pretty low.

One sold from $1380 or so 'buy it now' on GB yesterday. They routinely crop up for circa $1500. I paid $1400.

Does it make sense to build a black rifle that ejects forward thru a narrow channel?  There would be no way it could function if barried in mud as part of the testing.  As nice as it sounds to have a rifle be fully Ambi, out the bottom seems to make the most sense.  Seems like a novelty gun to me.

I am confident that the force of ejection would drive out any obstruction short of something hammered in there or the chute being crushed.

Yes, and the chute is actually open on one side to keep from getting gunked up and allow for cleaning.  The full force of the bolt carrier slamming shut would push pretty much anything out...

I have one and this is my opinion as well.  Very solid design and I love it!

Have you actually shot one and seen it function?  Ejection will never be an issue. Try it first.

Only one way to find out and that is to jam a bit of mud in there and test it. Clean it up and be done with the worry.

To throw in a little perspective, if the ejection chute is plugged with mud, so is the barrel.
That makes the gun a club until the barrel is cleaned out.

Just kidding, I just had to throw in that last part but I'm not sure if that's actually a good idea...
